In this present study, we aimed to obtain an overview of the effect of daily activities in addiction counseling centers on treatment. This study was conducted in 72 outpatients with alcohol and/ or substance use disorder who pre-sented to the Turkish Green Crescent Counseling Center (YEDAM) between January 2019 and June 2019. The patiens were evaluated retpospectively. Of the participants, 35 were control and 37 were experimental groups. There was no significant difference was found between the participanst in terms of recovery. However, there is a significant difference in the number of sessions between participants and non participants. It was seen that the participants in the activities came to more sessions. Although the activities organized in the treatment centers do not directly affect the recovery, the fact that the clients attending the activities come to more sessions may affect the participation and treatment of the clients.
