Objective: This study aims to adapt the Unfinished Business in Bereavement Scale-Brief Form into Turkish. The scale assesses the incomplete experiences and unresolved conflicts which are important for the course of the grief. Methods: The sample of the study consists of 334 participants who are over 18 years, experienced a loss at least six months prior to survey. The average age is 30.30±13.40 years. Results: Confirmatory Factor analysis results indicated that two-factor model was a good fit to the data. Criterion validity analysis result showed that there was a strong correlation between the UBBS-Brief and the Complicated Grief Inventory. The Cronbachs alpha coefficient for total score was 0.75. Conclusion: Consequently, the Turkish version of the USSB-Brief has adequate psycho-metric properties. It can be used as a valid and reliable measurement tool in evaluating of unfinished business with the deceased. [Anadolu Psikiyatri Derg 2020; 21(0.100): 23-30]
