Mirtazapine induced galactorrhea: a case report

Galactorrhea is called milky flow spontaneously coming from each breast. It may happen secondary many diseases and drug usage. Antidepressants induce galactorrhea is rare. There are obviously limited reports on mirtazapine, which is noradrenergic and specific serotonergic antidepressant (NaSSA), related hyperprolactinemia and galactorrhea. In this paper, a hyperprolactinemia and galactorrhea case is reported due to mirtazapine treatment of depression. [Anadolu Psikiyatri Derg 2017; 18(0.100): 51-52]
