Fahrs Syndrome is rarely occurring neuropsychiatric disease which is characterized by symmetric calcifications of basal ganglia. It was described for the first time by Fahr in 1930. Although, the most common symptoms are extrapyramidal system signs, Fahr syndrome might also present with seizure, dementia and psychiatric symptoms. Treatment is symptomatic. We report a case of Fahr Syndrome presented by generalized tonic clonic seizure and psychotic depression. [Anadolu Psikiyatri Derg 2016; 17(0.300): 48-51]
