Objective: This study aimed to gain a scale for gambling craving by conducting the Turkish Validity and Reliability study of Gambling Craving Scale (GCS). Methods: The South Oaks Gambling Screening Test (SOGST), the Causes of Gambling Scale (CGS) and the GCS were used in the study. Results: The Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was calculated as 0.959. When the consistency of the scale was checked, the Pearson’s correlation coefficient was calculated as 0.876. The eigenvalue of the single factor structure was 6.236 and it explained that the variance explained 77.94% of the total. Factor loads of the scale items were found between 0.747 and 0.930. A positive correlation was found between the GCS and the CGS subdimensions. Conclusion: In conclu-sion, Gambling Craving Scale was found to be a valid and reliable scale for Turkish culture. The GCS Scale was a 8-item, one-factor structure and was valid and reliable for the Turkish population. [Anadolu Psikiyatri Derg 2019; 20(0.200): 84-86]
