No fees are requested from the authors during submission and evaluation process. All manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission system, which is available at www.alpha-psychiatry.com. The journal guidelines, technical information, and the required forms are available on the journal’s web page.
As of February 9, 2022, Alpha Psychiatry receives a 690 USD (including taxes) article processing charge (APC) for original research articles. Letters to the editor and invited reviews are not charged an APC. Upon the acceptance of the manuscript, authors should transfer the payment to the account that is stated in the acceptance letter. Following the transfer, please send your receipt of payment to [email protected].
Alpha Psychiatry offers APC waivers to the manuscripts whose corresponding authors are based in countries classified by the World Bank as low-income economies as of July 2020. You may access the list here.
Please note that all submissions are evaluated by the Editorial Board and the external reviewers in terms of scientific quality and ethical standards. APC payments have not any effect on the outcome of the article’s evaluation and/or publication priority.
