One of the notable concepts of cognitive psy- choogy literature, administrative functions are categorized as concentration in acting purpose- ively, inhibition of those unconcerned, planning, strategizing, encoding, and processing of related data in working storage and determination of next level in successive tasks. There have recently been made intensive researches on the definition and constituents of administrative functions and the relations of these elements with each other and as to which neuropsycho- logical tests are regarded as administrative func- tion tests and neuroanatomical references of this period. This study will be conducted in three stages, in the first of which the participants will be instructed on the definition of administrative functions considered to be theoretically a high level cognitive process, related other cognitive processes and their neuroanatomical refer- ences. In the second stage, neuropsychological tests measuring administrative functions will be introduced. The tower tests (London, Hanoi and Toronto tower tests) controlling the specific as- pects of executive functions, the sorting/coupling test (Wisconsin Card sorting test), the Stroop color and word test, the category test, trail making test (Chase test, sections of A and B), the oral fluency tests (category, phonemic, alternant category and fluency of design), the Porteus maze test and the tests of opposing distracter (the continuous performance task test) will be presented. In the last stage, that in which cognitive processes there is a lost as a result administrative functions were spoiled clinically will be emphasized. That which neuropsycholo- gical tests these cognitive processes were mea- sured and assessed with and that which scores, in the neuropsychological tests measuring ad- ministrative functions, correspond to the mea- surement and assessment of which cognitive process will be stated. The clinical view will be tried to be adapted through showing patient samples, and the nature of administrative func- tions and the participants concerning neurocog- nitive sciences will shared with an interactive presentation.

Bilişsel psikoloji literatürünün önemli kavramla- rından biri olan yönetici işlevler, amaca yönelik davranışın gerçekleştirilmesinde dikkatin odak- lanması, ilgisiz olanların ketlenmesi, planlama, strateji kurma, çalışma belleğinde ilgili bilginin kodlanması ve işlenmesi, ardışık görevlerde bir sonraki basamağın belirlenmesi olarak sınıflan- dırılmaktadır. Yönetici işlevlerin tanımı, bileşen- leri ve bu bileşenlerin birbiriyle olan ilişkileri, hangi nöropsikolojik testlerin yönetici işlev test- leri olduğu ve bu sürecin nöroanatomik bağlan- tıları konularında son yıllarda yoğun çalışmalar yapılmaktadır. Bu çalışma grubu üç aşamada gerçekleştirile- cektir. İlk aşamada, kuramsal olarak üst düzey bir bilişsel süreç olan yönetici işlevlerin tanımı, ilişkili olduğu bilişsel diğer süreçler ve nöroana- tomik bağlantıları hakkında katılımcılar bilgilen- dirilecektir. İkinci aşamada yönetici işlevleri ölçen nöropsikolojik testler tanıtılacaktır. Yürütü- cü işlevlerin spesifik yönlerini test eden kule testleri (Londra, Hanoi ve Toronto Kule Testleri), eşleme testi (Wisconsin Kart Eşleme Testi), Renk-Sözcük Testi (Stroop), kategori testi, izle- me testi (İz sürme testi A ve B bölümü), sözel akıcılık testleri (kategori, fonemik, alternan kategori ve desen akıcılığı), labirent testi (S.D. Porteus), çeldiriciye karşı koyabilme (sürekli performans görev testi) testleri tanıtılacaktır. Üçüncü ve son aşamada ise klinik boyutta yönetici işlevlerin hasar görmesi sonucu, hangi bilişsel süreçlerde kayıp oluştuğu üzerinde duru- lacaktır. Bu bilişsel süreçlerin hangi nöropsikolo- jik testlerle ölçüldüğü ve değerlendirildiği, yöne- tici işlevleri ölçen nöropsikolojik testlerde hangi puanların, hangi bilişsel sürecin ölçülmesine ve değerlendirilmesine karşılık geldiği anlatılacaktır. Hasta örnekleri verilerek, klinik görünüm aktarıl- maya çalışılacak ve nörokognitif bilimlerle ilgile- nen katılımcılarla, yürütücü işlevlerin doğası interaktif bir sunumla paylaşılacaktır.
